IICRC stands for the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. The Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting and improving the cleaning and restoration industry, and is known across the world as the standard-bearer for professional cleaning and restoration service. This non-profit organization was first founded in 1972 & since then, has evolved into a global entity, with over 60,000 active members and 6,000 certified businesses in multiple countries.
To become an IICRC-certified technician, you must successfully complete multiple rigorous training courses and be able to pass exams showing you are up to the organization’s standard-setting requirements.
As an IICRC-certified technician, you are expected to uphold the Institute’s principle values of respect, responsibility, integrity, excellence, and expertise in every service you provide.
